ASEMV’s Annual Meeting has a single goal: to promote positive and stimulating interactions between scientists working in all facets to these fields. To this end, ASEMV meetings run a single track of presentations: all attendees hear all presentations. Furthermore, ASEMV arranges its roster of speakers in a highly integrated fashion that maximizes cross-fertilization of concepts and techniques throughout these fields.

The vast majority of ASEMV talks are brief presentations, and all speakers are strongly encouraged to also present their work during poster sessions. ASEMV provides significant speaking opportunities to junior scientists, including post-docs and grad students, as well as to researchers from diverse academic and private institutions.
