The ASEMV is an international community of researchers devoted to the study of exosomes and other extracellular vesicles (EVs), including microvesicles, enveloped viruses, apoptotic bodies, and bacterial outer membrane vesicles. The primary mission of the ASEMV is to organize scientific meetings and online events that provide a forum for exosome and EV scientists to gather, share their findings, and discuss latest advances and controversies in the field. ASEMV welcomes members from across the globe, and is particularly dedicated to providing students, post-docs, and other junior scientists with presentation opportunities. In addition, efforts are continuing to support and empower newly formed scientific organization such as American Association of Extracellular Vesicles, AAEV ( AAEV | American Association of Extracellular Vesicles (aa-ev.org).
